THE INDONESIAN REVOLUTIONARY OPEN HOUSE

The event was hosted by ILPS Indonesia to give a context of Indonesian society and the struggle going on nowadays. The event featured the life and oppression faced by poor people in Indonesia as a country that has a lot of natural resources but the people are suffering because of poverty due to the semi-colonial and semi-feudal system that still exists. It also presented the Indonesian people’s struggle to build the socialist system starting from the countryside. It was an occasion to promote the revolutionary struggle of the people and many of the participants from Malaysia, Australia, Philippines, Canada and the US expressed interest to see and integrate in the struggle in the countryside.
