The International League of Peoples Struggle (ILPS), calls for a week of solidarity with the people of Peru, who are fighting against persecution and oppression by the imperialist puppet state of Peru. We express our utmost solidarity with the people and their “Amnesty and Fundamental Rights Movement”, who are being imprisoned and oppressed in large numbers for fighting for their fundamental and basic social rights and for democracy.
U.S. Imperialism and its local puppets are working to try to continue to ensure an extreme right-wing/fascist state so that they can continue to use Peru as a base for attacks on Venezuela, Ecuador and other Latin American peoples.
ILPS calls on all chapters, regional committees, commissions and other organizations to take part in the week of solidarity with the people of Peru, from Friday 26th of March to Friday 2nd of April 2021. Please utilize online and offline solidarity activities as appropriate.
Demand the release of all political prisoners, the ending of oppression for expressing views and opinions, the end of repression in Peru!
Demand that Imperialism ends its involvement and oppression in Peru!
Long live the struggle for freedom and democracy!
Long live international solidarity!
