ILPS Guatemala hosts International Cycling Competition to raise social issues

ILPS Guatemala has just concluded the 8th Tour Por La Paz Justa on Feb 6-9, an International Cycling Competition dedicated to raising awareness of social issues and to benefit the medical missions of the Fundacion Amancio Samuel Villatoro, an ILPS member organization. This year hundreds of cyclists from 10 countries participated in the competition and raised the call “End Gender Violence”. The Cuban ambassador to Guatemala spoke on the final day regarding this theme and the Cuban Medical Brigade was recognized for its service to the Guatemalan people.
