During the 2024 International Peoples Tribunal (IPT) in Brussels, Belgium, ILPS participated in a protest rally for Palestine. At the IPT held on May 17-18, 2024, jurors and witnesses voiced their support for Palestinians in line with the tribunal’s focus on investigating alleged war crimes and breaches of international humanitarian law by the US-backed Marcos Jr.-Duterte regime.
Among the key figures at the IPT was Atty. Suzanne Adelet, a juror, and Ayik Casilao, a former Anakpawis Partylist Congressman and a witness. Both emphasized the crucial need for strengthened international solidarity to condemn human rights violations which include the US-Israel genocide on Palestine. Participants intensified the call to uphold the Palestinians’ right to resistance and to return to their homelands.
