ILPS Philippines assert for Public Health, not Private Profit

ILPS organizations in the Philippines joined the rest of the world in calling for mass treatment, economic aid and other global demands as part of the Global Day of Solidarity for Public Health Not Private Profit.

May First Movement in the Philippines (KMU) joined the Global Day of Action for People’s Health Not Profits. Filipino workers and the people assert mass testing, free treatment and economic relief as the PH government enforces a lockdown in the country. The KMU and other workers organizations also launched the Road Map to May 1, as it lays down the People’s Fighting Demands for government’s urgent response.

Anakbayan chapters in Manila and Pamantasang Lunngsod ng Maynila (PLM) along with Gabriela Youth-PLM also participated in the call for Public Health Not Private Profit.
