ILPS in Canada mobilizes against US aggression on Iran

Various organizations came together in Canada to protest the recent US intervention in Iran

Over 300 people came out in Montréal on January 25 to join with protesters in 18 different Canadian cities to oppose the war and the sanctions against Iran.

ILPS Canada joined the Jan. 25 Global Day of Action in solidarity with Iran.

Women were present in large numbers- and some babies too! In Montréal, the ILPS joined Artistes pour la paix, Collectif Échec à la guerre, Mouvement Québecois pour la paix – Quebec Movement for Peace, the Iranian Canada Congress and Bien Vivre Ensemble in an anti-war united action. ILPS members also helped organize anti-war in Iran actions in Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto.
