Declaración Solidaria sobre las Redadas de Migrantes en Estados Unidos y la Intensificación de la Represión del Estado en Los Ángeles California

Nosotros, la Liga Internacional de la Lucha de los Pueblos (ILPS) comité provisional para América Latina y el Caribe, expresamos nuestra más enérgica condena a las recientes redadas migratorias llevadas a cabo en Los Ángeles y en todo Estados Unidos, que violan flagrantemente los derechos humanos de las y los migrantes, en especial de aquellos que buscan una vida alejada de la violencia, la pobreza y la opresión estructural en sus países de origen.

Desde nuestra perspectiva, entendemos estos hechos como parte de la ofensiva del imperialismo y del sistema capitalista global, esencialmente una declaración de guerra contra el pueblo por parte del régimen de Trump, que busca mantener su dominio a través de la explotación y el control de los trabajadores migrantes, a quienes consideran una pieza desechable en el engranaje del capitalismo feroz. La intensificación de la represión estatal en Los Ángeles refleja la articulación concreta de un sistema que criminaliza la pobreza, la migración y las luchas de los pueblos.

Las redadas y la criminalización de los migrantes no son hechos aislados, sino expresiones de la lucha de clases en su máxima expresión: el Estado y el capital concentran su poder para someter a los sectores populares, en un intento de desarmar su resistencia y disciplinarlos mediante la violencia institucional. La migración debe entenderse como un acto de resistencia frente a la opresión estructural que produce desigualdades, conflictos armados, dictaduras y crisis económicas en los países de origen. Esta misma resistencia es la que ejercen en las calles y rutas californianas , impidiendo nuevas deportaciones , los cientos de miles de migrantes que enfrentan duramente a las fuerzas federales, incluída la Guardia Nacional e los Marines, configurándose una verdadera pueblada.

Como organización antiimperialista, reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con la solidaridad internacional y con la defensa irrestricta de los derechos de las y los migrantes. Llamamos a fortalecer la denuncia en los ámbitos nacionales e internacionales, a apoyar las luchas de los migrantes por su autodeterminación, el derecho a la autodefensa y a combatir las políticas migratorias racistas y xenofóbicas que fomentan la división de la clase trabajadora y benefician los intereses del imperialismo.

Exigimos la inmediata suspensión de las redadas, la retirada de los soldados de las calles, y la liberación de todas las personas detenidas. Nuestro apoyo y solidaridad deben estar con las comunidades migrantes, organizándose en colectivos y movimientos que tengan presente que su lucha es parte de la resistencia global contra el sistema imperialista y sus formas de opresión.

¡Por la unidad de la clase trabajadora internacional! ¡Por la abolición de las leyes migratorias racistas!

Solidarity with the Migrant Protests in the United States!

Statement of Solidarity on the Raids on Migrants in the United States and the Intensification of State Repression in Los Angeles, California

We, the International League of Peoples’ Struggle (ILPS) Regional Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean, express our strongest condemnation of the recent immigration raids carried out in Los Angeles and throughout the United States, which flagrantly violate the human rights of migrants, especially those who seek a life away from violence, poverty, and structural oppression in their countries of origin.

From our perspective, we understand these facts as part of the offensive of imperialism and the global capitalist system is essentially a declaration of war against the people by the Trump regime, which seeks to maintain its domination through the exploitation and control of migrant workers whom they consider a disposable cog in the wheel of vicious capitalism. The intensification of state repression in Los Angeles reflects the concrete articulation of a system that criminalizes poverty, migration, and peoples’ struggles.

The raids and criminalization of migrants are not isolated events, but expressions of the class struggle at its maximum expression: the state and capital concentrate their power to subdue the popular sectors in an attempt to disarm their resistance and discipline them through institutional violence. Migration should be understood as an act of resistance to the structural oppression that produces inequalities, armed conflicts, dictatorships, and economic crises in the countries of origin. This same resistance is exercised in the streets and roads of California, preventing new deportations by hundreds of thousands of migrants who harshly confront the federal forces, including the National Guard and the Marines, forming a real uprising.

As an anti-imperialist organization, we reaffirm our commitment to international solidarity and the unrestricted defense of the rights of migrants. We call to strengthen the denunciation in the national and international spheres, to support the struggles of migrants for their self-determination, the right to self-defense, and to combat racist and xenophobic migration policies that promote the division of the working class and benefit the interests of imperialism.

We demand the immediate suspension of the raids, the withdrawal of the soldiers from the streets, and the release of all those detained. Our support and solidarity must be with the migrant communities, organizing in collectives and movements that keep in mind that their struggle is part of the global resistance against the imperialist system and its forms of oppression.

For the unity of the international working class! For the abolition of racist immigration laws!
