Uphold the Palestinian Struggle of Al Aqsa Flood and Defeat US Imperialist Occupation, Sanctions, and Siege!

Global Days of Action for October 7 and 8, 2026

Three years since the historic Al Aqsa Flood operation launched from Gaza, the world has seen national liberation movements and struggles in defense of national sovereignty reignite against US and Zionist aggression and the states supporting them. This has pushed US imperialism to the brink and accelerated its decline, while exposing the fascist Zionist entity for the genocidal project that it has been all along. The Al Aqsa Flood was a catalyst for the accelerated decline of US imperialism and Zionism.

While US imperialism is in steep decline, it is still the #1 terrorist superpower in the world today. It unleashes many forms of hybrid warfare and counterinsurgency against countless nations and the peoples’ movements within them. The US may be using the same old tools of plundering peoples’ resources and economy (imposed indebtedness, structural adjustment policies, privatization and corporate capture of land and industries, and financialization), but it is pushed to start and wage new wars all the time. Since it cannot wage war in the ways it has in years past, it must resort to other forms of aggression such as trade wars to try and break down its rivals and even allies into submitting to US economic demands.

Sanctions are a much more brutal form of economic warfare, using the hegemony of the US dollar to isolate entire countries from the global economy and drain their people of food, medicine, productive technology, and other necessities as a means to starve the people, creating internal unrest and weakening the state. When even economic sanctions fail to cripple their targets, the US and its allies embark on full-scale sieges to suffocate countries like Cuba, Iran, and Yemen. This was the US strategy against Venezuela until the US launched a military invasion and kidnapped its leaders, now holding the country hostage to US dictates.

In addition to blatantly illegal kidnappings of countries’ leadership, the US and its Zionist attack dogs extrajudicially assassinate world leaders and key revolutionary figures throughout history—from the martyrdom of heroic guerrilla Ernesto “Che” Guevara to the 2026 assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei—alongside Palestinian resistance leaders such as Ismail Hanniyeh in 2024.

In Palestine, over 74,000 are documented to have been killed in Gaza since the genocide began, which more likely equals hundreds of thousands when the number of missing under the rubble is factored in. The Zionist-imposed siege enforces starvation and medical collapse as it holds back desperately needed food, medicine, and building materials to facilitate slow death of Gazans. The US-led “Board of Peace” enacts schemes to profit off the destruction and reconstruction of Gaza by attracting billions of dollars worth of real-estate deals, denying Palestinian self-determination over their own land and further strengthening the Zionist occupation. Meanwhile, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank where nearly 5,000 settler attacks have occurred so far in 2026 alone, with at least 250 villages affected by the burning of homes, cars, and farmland.

In Yemen, a US-backed blockade was imposed by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other Gulf monarchies between 2015 and 2022 in an attempt to isolate and defeat Ansar Allah, leading to the deaths of at least 223,000 farmers, pastoralists, and city-dwellers alike from starvation and malnutrition. When the blockade failed to break the will of the Yemeni people, the Saudi-led coalition began indiscriminately bombing Yemen, killing and maiming thousands of civilians, including children.

In Iran, at least 3,468 people have been reported killed and over 26,500 injured since the US-Zionist war began. This came after decades of sanctions imposed by the US that have led to drastic shortages in basic necessities such as life-saving medicines, building materials, and access to credit, leading to skyrocketing inflation on other goods. US officials, most notably US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, openly declared the intent of US sanctions to destroy the livelihood of the people and accelerate uprisings against the Iranian government to compel its overthrow.

Cuba is under one of the harshest blockades in the entire history of US intervention against the island. Since January 29, 2026, energy, food, and money transfers have been almost fully cut off by the US, leading to regular blackouts, shut-downs of hospitals where newborns and sick patients are put at risk of death, and forcing many institutions such as schools and government operations to limit their services.

Venezuela was blatantly invaded by the US on January 3, 2026, after years of relentless US economic sanctions aimed at sabotaging state revenues, production infrastructure, and national sovereignty. US military commanders and oil executives, led by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have effectively put a gun to the head of Venezuela’s leadership in order to maintain their control over the domestic and foreign affairs of the country.

In response, anti-imperialist forces in the country have called for a World Anti-Imperialist Day of Action on October 8—commemorated on the Day of the Heroic Guerrilla in honor of Che Guevara—urging revolutionary movements globally to carry out local mobilizations, cultural events, and propaganda actions under the unifying slogan “The People United Will Never Be Defeated.”

Today, Iran, Gaza, Yemen, and Cuba are all under siege, while “Israel” occupies Palestine and the US holds Venezuela hostage. These nations did not become targets just because of their oil, trade routes, or other resources, though these play a huge role in advancing imperialist economic interests. These nations have been under attack because of their brave defense of the people’s sovereignty and their determination to achieve and maintain national liberation from the imperialist system dominated by the US and its Zionist puppet.

The Al Aqsa Flood, launched on October 7, 2023, stands as a beacon for nations and peoples’ movements around the world for how to genuinely resist the most brutal and genocidal manifestations of imperialism in the world today. On October 7, 2026, there is a need to strengthen global solidarity and cooperation for the Palestinian people and for their just struggle for national liberation. We offer solidarity not only for Palestine’s struggle to free its people from Zionist occupation and genocide, but also to all nations fighting back against imperialist occupation, sanctions, and siege.
