Condemn the Imperialist War of Aggression By The U.S. and Zionist Entity Against Iran!

Statement of the ILPS Asia and the Pacific Regional Committee

The ILPS-AP condemns the war of aggression and intervention launched by the Netanyahu-led zionist State of Israel and the Trump-led US imperialist state against the people of Iran. The unprovoked attack against Iran by Israel and the US is similar to the genocide being conducted by the fascist and zionist Netanyahu against the people of Palestine. The civilian population of Iran, including children, are being murdered.

The US imperialists, since the Iranian revolution in 1979 have been fomenting a regime-change in Iran. Benjamin Netanyahu, singing the same chorus as the US, since 1995 have boasted that Iran is weeks away from having nuclear weapons. Netanyahu regularly and consistently called for a preemptive strike against Iran to neutralize their supposed nuclear capabilities. Preemptive strike, a phrase regularly used by the US, is big power language. It is language of imperialists and fascists. It is a guise for imperialist wars of aggression and intervention against peoples of the world.

The supposed possession of nuclear weapons by Iran and the need to eradicate this threat is peddled by the US imperialists and zionist Israel as a pretext for conducting aggression and intervention against the people of Iran. In the latest report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Iran, they submitted that they “…have no credible indication of an ongoing undeclared structured nuclear program…”.

The rhetoric of Netanyahu is taken from the playbook used by the Bush Jr.-led US during its war of aggression and intervention against the people of Iraq in 2003. The same playbook was used by the US then to provide pretext in its war of aggression against the people of Vietnam, with the Tonkin Gulf false-flag operations being launched in 1964, which hoodwink the people of the US and the world, that North Vietnam is a threat and thus the need for US war of aggression and intervention in Vietnam.

Behind every bomb and missile used by the zionist State of Israel and US imperialism, are the Israeli and US trans-national defense companies. For every wail, tears dropped, and blood spilled by the people of Iran and Palestine, the clink of profits are music to the ears of the war profiteers like Raytheon, Boeing, Palantir and Elbit Systems.

Let us raise our voice against imperialists and fascists wars of aggression and intervention directed against the people of Iran and Palestine, against the people of world. In chorus let us condemn the Trump-Netanyahu tandem, who at present are the purveyors of death and destruction directed against the people of the world. Let us mobilize to support the people of Iran and Palestine in their resistance against imperialists war and aggression.
